I began practicing Karate in 1984 and discovered Japanese sword arts in the late 1990s. Training under Andy Sensei and Carl McClafferty, I have been studying ever since, and teaching for nearly 20 years.
In 2017 I was promoted to Rokudan (6th dan) with a Renshi teaching certificate. My belief is that traditional Japanese martial arts keep the mind active, the body healthy, and the spirit balanced.
The Furyukan has remained active in the global martial arts community since 1998, earning recognition at tournaments in both the United States and Japan.
